All game and bus tickets were sold out tonight at the event. If you bought tickets but find you are unable to attend, please contact John or drop us a note through the "contact" link on this page. We will likely have a list of people that would like to purchase them.
Pictures from the event at The Phoenix are posted on the PHOTO PAGE.

I don't have everyone's names and didn't add captions so feel free to add comments to the photos. I tried to use discretion, if there are any that you'd rather not be posted
, let me know and I'll take care of it (click the contact link).
It was great to see everyone!

Per MSNBC:
As Tim Tebow and the Florida Gators prepare to make a run at their third national title in the last four seasons, the defending champions have already made some history.
Florida is No. 1 in The Associated Press’ preseason Top 25 released Saturday, followed by Texas, Oklahoma, Southern California and Alabama. But the Gators are in a class by themselves, the most overwhelming preseason No. 1 in the history of the media poll.
Florida received 58 of the 60 first-place votes, or 96.7 percent. Texas got the other first-place votes.
For those looking for tickets or have some available, comment on this post and let us know.

Per John:
Our Happy Hour to kickoff the 2009 football season will be on Thursday August 27, from 5:30 to 7:30, at the Phoenix Restaurant in downtown Cincinnati. Phoenix GM Michael Pardo, a UF alum (and my “Godfather”) has once again graciously agreed to host the event, providing the most excellent appetizers. There will be a cash bar, 2009 Gator football posters, plus other Gator stuff we’ll be giving away. There is a pay parking lot directly across the street from the Phoenix, or simply park for free on the street after 5 pm.

As in years past, the Cincinnati Gator Club will watch all the Gator football games at Buffalo Wild Wings in Blue Ash.
Please encourage any Gators who haven't been involved in the club in Cincinnati to make it to the happy hour, and also to let them know where we watch all the games. If there are still tickets available for the Gator-UK game, and seats on the bus, I will be selling them at the happy hour.
Regarding tickets for the Gator-UK game, I just ordered an additional 40. This will probably be it, so don't wait to order game tickets, and seats on the bus.
See you on the 27th.

The University of Florida football team will hold Verizon Wireless Football Fan Day on Sunday, August 16, from 12 to 2 p.m. in the Stephen C. O’Connell Center. Admission is free and the doors will open at 11:30 a.m.
Fans will be able to meet and get autographs from their favorite Gator players and coaches. The University Athletic Association will supply the 2009 Gator team posters for player autographs and cannot allow outside items to be brought in to the event due to NCAA compliance issues.
